This constructions explores the idea of point of view through the construction of a horizontal threshold set at one individual's eye level. The view from below the space created is a dome within the frame of a rectangle with an opening to the sky; from above the space created is a bowl with an opening to the ground. Seen with the horizontal line at eye-level evokes a childhood memory of one's first understanding of level: swimming within a pool, attempting to hold the still line of water within one's eyes.
